These last couple of months I’ve been really trying to expand my “Crystal portfolio” some crystals are grown by causing a double displacement reaction between two different compounds. I’m learning that you can get different “aesthetics” from the same reaction depending on the concentration of chemicals used and the conditions they’re exposed to. With this ram skull I’ve yielded a unique Crystal form that is nothing like the other specimens I’ve grown! The initial solutions seems to eat away at the bone and leave an oxidized and decaying look, which I’m really diggin. This piece will be on display at my solo show this December 4th at @tulsaodditiesneedfulthings in Tulsa!
